Shelter pets rock!

Did you know that some people won't adopt a pet from a shelter because they think it is "damaged." What's with that? People should know that there are plenty of perfectly adoptable pets waiting in shelters all around the country. Lots of times they have landed there by no fault of their own--maybe their person was having some financial trouble, or just didn't care enough. To help spread the word about how great shelter pets can be, the Ad Council has partnered with the Humane Society and Maddie's Fund to launch The Shelter Pet Project.
