This adorable 8 week old pup was just left behind when her people moved out of their home in Temple, TX. As though being abandoned as a puppy were not bad enough, the building she was left in caught on fire! Two very brave teenager girls who heard the puppy crying rescued the pup just before the building was engulfed in flames. The puppy was taken to the Temple Animal Shelter, where they cleared up her fleas, and treated her belly for worms. While getting all fixed up they received over 100 adoption inquiries! She was adopted in a snap by a lucky young man that plans to name her either Smokey or Blaze. Read the whole story here.
